A problem every freshwater aquarist knows: iron deficiency!
hw®-ferrovit reliably prevents deficiency diseases in aquatic plants, such as those that could occur due to a deficit of iron or trace elements, and ensure a colorful and splendid green aquatic vegetation. Already occurred damage to the foliage and roots of aquatic plants, caused by deficiency diseases, is quickly remedied.
The use of additional composite plant fertilizers, which were otherwise inevitably necessary, are completely unnecessary when using hw®-ferrovit. As long as the aquarium is not designed as a pure plant aquarium, the nutrients nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium will be present in sufficient quantities through the fish’s food cycle.

Among other compounds, hw®-ferrovit contains iron in a form that can be directly adsorbed by aquatic plants and a part in a chelated form as a kind of depot. In the depot form, the iron is bound in such a way that it is only released into the aquarium water when needed or made available through adsorption processes on the root surfaces of the plants. Your iron test will therefore only be able to measure a maximum of half of the iron concentration, actually supplied by hw®-ferrovit and available for the plants.
Due to the optimal iron supply, the aquarium plants react with significantly increased new formation of leaves and side shoots. In order to meet the need for trace elements resulting from this increased growth rate, hw®-ferrovit contains the following plant-utilizable trace elements, such as magnesium, manganese, copper, molybdenum, zinc, boron, iodine, fluorine, cesium, strontium, nickel, cobalt, chromium, in addition to iron , Bismuth and vanadium.
Dose 15 ml ofhw®-ferrovit per 100 liters of aquarium water per week. When carrying out a water change, a corresponding replenishment should be carried out, i.e. 15 ml hw®-ferrovit per 100 liters of replaced/changed water.
