hw® ferrovit
Iron complex for freshwater plants ensures a lush green and colorful plant growth in freshwater aquariums.
A problem every freshwater aquarist knows: iron deficiency!
hw-ferrovit reliably prevents deficiency diseases in aquatic plants, such as those that could occur due to a deficit of iron or trace elements, and ensure a colorful and splendid green aquatic vegetation. Already occurred damage to the foliage and roots of aquatic plants, caused by deficiency diseases, is quickly remedied.
The use of additional composite plant fertilizers, which were otherwise inevitably necessary, are completely unnecessary when using hw-ferrovit.As long as the aquarium is not designed as a pure plant aquarium, the nutrients nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium will be present in sufficient quantities through the fish’s food cycle.
Among other compounds, hw-ferrovit contains iron in a form that can be directly adsorbed by aquatic plants and a part in a chelated form as a kind of depot. In the depot form, the iron is bound in such a way that it is only released into the aquarium water when needed or made available through adsorption processes on the root surfaces of the plants. Your iron test will therefore only be able to measure a maximum of half of the iron concentration, actually supplied by hw-ferrovit and available for the plants.
Due to the optimal iron supply, the aquarium plants react with significantly increased new formation of leaves and side shoots. In order to meet the need for trace elements resulting from this increased growth rate, hw-ferrovit contains the following plant-utilizable trace elements, such as magnesium, manganese, copper, molybdenum, zinc, boron, iodine, fluorine, cesium, strontium, nickel, cobalt, chromium, in addition to iron , Bismuth and vanadium.
Dosage:
Dose 15 ml of hw-ferrovit per 100 liters of aquarium water per week. When carrying out a water change, a corresponding replenishment should be carried out, i.e. 15 ml hw-ferrovit per 100 liters of replaced/changed water.
hw-tracevit
Trace element solution for fresh water supplies the aquarium water with all the positive trace elements that are consumed by metabolic processes.
In comparation to the natural environment (rivers and lakes) where trace elements are available in abundancy the animals and plants in a closed aquarium system quickly consumes the relatively small amount of available trace elements. This is easily to understand when you simply compare the water volume per fish or plant in a aquarium to the water volume of a lake or river.
Therefore, in the closed aquarium system the pool of trace elements has to be “refilled” frequently to avoid well-known symptoms like:
disturbed well-being and behavior of fishes
pathological short stature
low and/or faulty pigment formation
hw-tracevit contains all vital trace elements as present in natural aquatic environment and constantly consumed by metabolic processes in a closed aquarium system.
Regularly added to the aquarium water, they reliably prevent the usual upraising deficiency symptoms.
hw-tracevit for freshwater aquarium
Among other components, hw-tracevit contains the following elements: boron, bromine, chromium, cesium, iron, fluorine, iodine, copper, potash, cobalt, lithium, manganese, magnesium, molybdenum, nickel, rubidium, selenium, strontium, vanadium, bismuth, Zinc, etc.
Dosing:
As a maintenance and maintenance dose, add 5 ml of hw-tracevit per 100 liters of aquarium water every 7 days. In the case of a very high livestock with aquatic plants, like in plant dominated aquarium, the dosage can be increased to up to 10 ml hw-tracevit per 100 liters of aquarium water.
Follow-up dosing to be carried out when changing water
When carrying out a water changes, proceed with the replacement water in the same way as with the regular dosing. Dose 5 ml hw-tracevit per 100 liters of replaced or replacement water. Multivitamin complex for reef-tanks, marine-tanks and fresh water-tanks
hw® multivit for aquarium contains all essential vitamins in adequate and balanced quantities. hw® multivit strengthens the body’s natural defenses, improves the welfare and increases the blaze of pigmentation/coloration. The fertility will be improved and egg sponges will be more resistant, showing a higher hatching rate of healthy fish larvae.
When using dried or frosted fish food a additional vitamination with hw® multivit is highly recommended
Many animal losses in the aquarium are attributed to all types of diseases, although their actual cause is due to avitaminosis.
Aquarium fish are normally provided with sufficient nutrients, such as carbohydrates, fats and proteins in their food. This alone is not sufficient, there is normally a lack of sufficient vitamins, such as vital biochemical active substances, which ensure normal development of the fish and regular organ functions.
Vitamins cannot be built-up by the organism but have to be supplied to it with the food if vitamin deficiency diseases (avitaminosis) are to be avoided.
Reliable protection against high loss avitaminosis can be ensured by regularly adding hw multivit to the food. hw multivit contains a balanced amount of all necessary vitamins.
With the application of hw® multivit the reproductive capacity and fertility is noticeably increased, resulting in a higher number of healthy hatching fish larvae.
By mainly use of frosted or freeze-dried fish food, it is highly recommended to use hw® multivit as additional vitamination to compensate the loose of vitamins during the freezing or freeze-drying process of the fish food.

Important: Shake bottle well before and between applications!
Before feeding the dried or frozen food just add a few drops of hw® multivit on the food.
Dried food (like little shrimps, mollusc flesh, etc.) should be moistened (approx for 5-10 Minutes) only to the grade that the applied hw® multivit would be nearly completely absorbed by the food.
Frozen food like pieces of shrimps, mollusc, mosquito larvae, freshwater shrimps, etc.) should be defrosted and shortly rinsed with clean tap water. After this you can proceed in same way like with dried food. Be aware that the frozen food will only absorb smaller quantities of hw® multivit. To improve the absorption you can let
rest the so prepared food in your refrigerator for about 30 Minutes (max. 2 h).

Description of the main components:
Alpha tocopherol: Vitamin E. Acts as an antioxidant; protects the fatty acids, retinol and enzymes against oxidation; also influences the absorption of cyanocobalamin and nuclein metabolism; antisterility vitamin.
Ascorbic acid: Vitamin C. Serves for the formation and maintenance of the collagen level; reducer in tyrosine metabolism; protects the organism against a deficiency of other vitamins, also encourages adrenalinogenesis.
Cyanocobalamin: Vitamin B12. Coenzyme, growth factor; encourages lipid and carbohydrate metabolism as well as the formation of blood.
D-Biotin: Vitamin H. Growth factor, among other tings for nanoplankton; also synthesised in plants. Biotin is a coenzyme for CO2 fixation and transcarboxylation in the presence and involvement of magnesium ions.
Glycine: Amino-acetic acid. Cell protein building substance; for blood pigment synthesis.

Tap water contains many substances which makes it more suitable for human consumption, but these substances are in many cases particularly harmful to fishes, plants and microorganisms in your aquarium.
hw-protavit reliably removes these substances and convert tap water into ideal, clear aquarium water for fishes and plants. The biological equilibrium in the aquarium system will be supported, becoming much more stable, enabling fishes and plants to show their full colors.
hw-protavit has a purely biological structure and replaces the colloids found in natural waters. hw-protavit converts fresh tap water into directly usable aquarium water. The active components contained in hw-protavit reliably binds possible chemical metal compounds which are mostly present in tap water and are harmful to fish and plants. Chlorine and phenols that may be contained in tap water are also bound and removed from the aquarium water.
hw-protavit® natural protective colloids for all freshwater aquariums
Natural and biologically water environments always contain colloidal solutions. The active substances of this colloidal solutions are indispensable for the organism and for the mucous membrane of the body surface of the fishes and also binds respective neutralizes potential pollutants in the aquatic environment.
In the artificial environment of a freshly filled aquarium the natural protective colloids are completely missing and will be build up only very slowly. During this time the freshly filled aquarium is rarely a nature like and healthy environment for fishes, crabs and plants.
Unexpectedly death of previously perfectly healthy animals is often the result and also one of the most common causes of initial losses in newly installed aquariums.
Increasing mortality after a major partial water change is often associated with the reduction in the concentration of previously present protective colloids. Specially for fishes the protective colloids are of high importance as they are indispensable to build up the protective mucous membrane which surrounds the entire fish body. If this mucous membrane is damaged the risk of possible infections, inflammations and fungal infections raises up significantly. In such cases hw-protavit® enables a rapid new formation of the mucous membrane and restores the protection against possible pathogens. hw-protavit® is therefore particularly recommended if new fishes are placed I the aquarium as the protective mucous membrane of these animals has been severely damaged through catching and transport.
Application and dosage:
When setting up a freshwater aquarium and when changing water, add 5 ml hw-protavit® per 10 liters of aquarium water or change water.
For mucosal injuries and to reduce stress syndromes:
Add an additional 2.5 ml of hw-protavit® per 10 liters of aquarium water to the normal dosage. In the event of mucosal injuries, this causes the affected areas to regenerate quickly, thereby reducing the risk of subsequent infections.
Possible irritation of the gill surface is also reduced, irritants are trapped in front of the tissue and the stress factors caused by it are reduced.
In the case of acute injuries, as a supportive measure, we recommend switching off the lighting in the aquarium for the next 12-14 hours and thus creating an early rest phase for the fish.
hw® addivit
pH-value increaser for marine and fresh water
hw® addivit increases quickly and reliable the pH-value in marine and fresh water aquarium without disturbing negatively the delicate ion balance of the aquarium water.
The increase of pH-value will be achieved through the nature like neutralization of the surplus of present acids through natural alkaline minerals.
Recommendation of use / Dosing
As initial dose add as maximum:
2,5 ml hw® addivit per 100 liters aquarium water
or
1 ml hw® addivit per 10 US gal aquarium water
please wait till the products has distributed through the water circulation in the aquarium and make a pH-value check. Continue with the addition till your desired pH-value has been reached.
Due to natural biological processes in the aquarium, it may be necessary to check in the following 48 hours the pH-value and make an adjustment with an additional dosing of hw® addivit (stabilization of the pH-value).
After the fixation and stabilization of the pH-value, a re-dosing normally would be only necessary when a major water change will be made.

pH-value reducer for marine and fresh water
hw® reduvit lowers quickly and reliable the pH-value in marine and fresh water aquarium without disturbing negatively the delicate ion balance of the aquarium water.
The reduction of the pH-value will be achieved through a release of natural acids, which reduces the alkalis bringing the pH-value back to the desired level.

or
